Mendes Jaime Jó is the Founder and Executive Director of Taremba Association for Community Development, a Mozambican non-profit organization established in 200X and headquartered in Chimoio, Manica Province. For more than two decades, he has dedicated his career to improving the lives of vulnerable children, young people, women, and families through sustainable, community-led development.
Strategic Leadership
Since founding Taremba, Mr. Jaime has led the organization’s strategic growth, institutional development, and programme implementation across Manica Province. His leadership focuses on strengthening local institutions, building resilient communities, and ensuring that development initiatives are driven by the needs and priorities of the people they serve.
As Executive Director, he provides oversight for organizational strategy, governance, financial accountability, partnership development, programme quality, and institutional sustainability.
